Summer is over and the air is crisp outside but barbecuing is always in season in our house.  It's a meal that can be prepared in minutes and still can be nutritionally balanced.  For many of us our lives are busy and we are on the run.  Whether you are working or driving the kids to various after school activities we all still need to have a delicious meal that we can prepare fast and taste great.

Prepare one of these marinades the night before, marinate the meat overnight and put on skewers the next day.  Add some vegetables and new potatoes like fingerlings and dinner is done.

Temperature outside is beginning to get crisp and soon enough winter will be knocking at out doorsteps.  There is nothing like coming home to something that is warm to eat.  Here is a classic Lebanese soup that requires very little  effort to make however provides a nutritional power house that your body will thank you for later.

A classic Lebanese salad that has been a staple growing up as child and passed down from generation to generation.  I added a twist by replacing the traditional bulger wheat with non-gluten grain like quinoa and you can also omit grains all together to make a Paleo friendly version.  I am sure you will fall in love with this classic dish.
